A Little Care Keeps the Fizzy Fun Going!

Our Fizzy Kits toys are 3D printed using PLA (polylactic acid), a lightweight plastic commonly used in 3D printing.

Our reusable toys are intended for supervised, water-based sensory play. To help keep them in good condition, please follow these care instructions.

💦 PLA & Water: What You Should Know

Our 3D-printed PLA toys are designed for water-based sensory play. We take care during the printing process to make our toys as watertight as possible. However, because 3D-printed items are created layer by layer, we cannot guarantee they are 100% watertight.

These tiny layer lines and spaces can also trap moisture or residue, which is why proper cleaning and thorough drying are especially important.

Do not leave toys submerged in water or store them while wet.

🧼 How to Clean Your Toys

  1. Rinse: After playtime, rinse away all remaining fizzy powder and residue using cool or lukewarm water.

  2. Wash: Gently wash with mild dish soap and a soft cloth or brush. Pay special attention to grooves, holes, and textured areas.

  3. Rinse Again: Thoroughly rinse away any soap.

  4. Dry Completely: Shake out excess water and allow toys to air-dry completely in a well-ventilated area before storing.

🚫 What to Avoid

  • Do not put toys in the dishwasher.

  • Do not use boiling or very hot water.

  • Do not microwave, boil, or heat to sanitize.

  • Do not soak or leave submerged for extended periods.

  • Do not use harsh chemicals, bleach, or abrasive scrubbers.

  • Do not store toys while damp.

⚠️ Important Safety Information

  • Adult supervision is required during play.

  • Toys and fizzy mixtures are not intended for consumption.

  • Do not use 3D-printed toys as food or drink containers.

  • Inspect toys before each use for cracks, sharp edges, loose pieces, or damage.

  • Discontinue use if toys become damaged, develop an unusual odor, or cannot be thoroughly cleaned and dried.

  • PLA may soften or warp when exposed to excessive heat.

Please note: 3D-printed PLA items cannot be assumed to be sterile, dishwasher-safe, or fully waterproof. Handwashing and complete drying help reduce moisture and residue buildup but do not guarantee disinfection.
